Terms of Service
Welcome to DistractionFree ("the App"), a beta application operated by an individual creator ("we", "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Beta Status & Disclaimer
You acknowledge that DistractionFree is currently in an Open Beta phase. This means:
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind.
- The App may contain bugs, errors, or cause data loss.
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice.
We are not liable for any issues arising from the instability of the Beta version.
2. Use of the App
DistractionFree is a utility designed to help you manage your screen time by blocking access to certain apps on your device. You agree that:
- You will use the App only for lawful, personal purposes.
- You are responsible for configuring the blocking schedules. We are not liable for any missed communications, notifications, or emergencies that result from you blocking apps on your device.
- You will not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the App's code or design.
3. User Accounts
You do not need to create an account to use the core features of the Beta. However, if you provide your email for the waitlist or feedback, you agree to provide accurate information. We reserve the right to block access to anyone who violates these Terms.
4. Intellectual Property
The visual interfaces, graphics, design, compilation, code, and "habit loop" logic of the App are the property of the creator and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall the creator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data or usage) arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email (if provided). Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
